
Senior Procurement Specialist

You will be responsible for managing the procurement and contract management process for various Defence projects.
This role involves:
- Investigating, analyzing and providing timely quality contract management and procurement advice to stakeholders;
- Planning and delivering critical procurement and contract management activities;
- Managing multiple priorities in a calm and logical manner;
- Working as part of a nationally distributed team with remote customer groups;
- Displaying adaptability and flexibility required to respond to the needs of stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Understanding of Defence procurement and contracting processes;
- Solutions-focused with ability to 'think on their feet';
- Self-motivated and committed to professional development and business process improvement;
- Excellent communication skills; and
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.

About our Team:
- The Business Management Office is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch within Land Systems Division, which is part of Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).
- Our team is made up of various disciplines including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services.
- We are located in Canberra, Penrith, Amberley and Melbourne and are focused on acquiring and sustaining guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
