Procurement Specialist Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled procurement specialist to join our team in the legal and procurement branch of a federal government department based in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the maintenance and development of procurement policies and systems to enable best practice activities.
  • Support the management of moderately complex procurement undertakings, including stakeholder management and data analysis.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Utilize SAP skills to enhance procurement processes.
  • Contribute to the implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Contract and/or procurement experience.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and data analysis skills.
  • SAP skills.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) desired.

Benefits:

  • Hourly rate contract role for an initial period of 6-12 months with the option to extend.
  • Competitive contracting rates available between $40 and $55 + super per hour.
