Job Title: Skilled Healthcare Provider

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary care team as a skilled healthcare provider in our Katherine facilities. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to residents within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic care to residents across a rotating fortnightly roster which includes day and night shifts.
  • Lead, supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-cultural care team.
  • Develop and implement person-centered care plans that meet individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress.
  • Demonstrate expertise in contemporary nursing practices and stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse or similar qualification.
  • Bachelor of Nursing or similar degree.
  • Full working rights to work in Australia.
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working as a Registered Nurse (in addition to graduate placements) – With preference within a geriatric or aged care environment.
  • Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary care team.
  • Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
