
Clinical Lead

This is a newly created role that reports to the Senior Medical Officer and leads advanced clinical care services within a primary healthcare clinic.
- Delivering culturally safe and responsive primary health care aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care
- Conducting independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making
- Prescribing medications under the Kimberley Standard Drug List and authorised SASAs
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic investigations
- Managing recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes
- Collaborating across departments and multidisciplinary teams
- Leading and contributing to quality improvement activities and clinical audits
- Participating in clinical governance and safeguarding practices for children and young people
To be eligible, you must hold current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner. In addition, experience working in a primary healthcare setting and demonstrated skills in triage, treatment, and ongoing care management are highly valued. We seek a collaborative team member who can effectively communicate with cross-cultural and multidisciplinary teams. Cultural humility and a willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context are also essential qualities.
