About the Role As a key player in our procurement team, you'll be responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement processes, establishing and maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational standards. This fixed-term position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering quality outcomes in aged care and facilities management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead procurement activities including Requests for Tender, Requests for Quotation, and Requests for Proposal.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and quality service delivery.
  • Maintain a register of contracts and monitor performance, renewals, and obligations.
  • Conduct market research and evaluate suppliers, including comparisons of current suppliers to our New Zealand villages.
  • Support internal and external audits and promote transparency in procurement practices.
  • Drive initiatives aligned with our sustainability goals, including carbon emissions reduction.
  • Provide expert advice and training to staff on procurement best practices.
What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualification in contract management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement and contract management.
  • Knowledge of aged care, health, or community services (desirable).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Property and Facilities Management, Building Act 1993, National Construction Code, and Health and Safety legislation.
