">We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Facility Procurement Specialist. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our facilities in delivering excellence and integration between procurement and other teams.
">Job Summary
">The successful candidate will have experience in procurement related activities, with a focus on delivering lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow from source to dock and additional required points. You will be responsible for recognising opportunities for cost and inventory reductions, quality improvement, and soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.
">Key Responsibilities

Supporting the delivery of a lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow for the facility from source to dock and additional required points.
">Recognising the potential for cost and inventory reductions, and quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.
">Operating and monitoring the supply network procurement functions to meet defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations.
">Collaborating with business partners and suppliers, and resolving facility specific supplier issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques.
">Able to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
">Familiarity with data-driven decision making processes and associated tools and techniques.
">Able to gather and analyze data to make organisational decisions that align with strategic business objectives and goals.
">Excellent analytical thinking skills, including ability to determine root causes of organisational problems and create alternative solutions.
">Possess effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques, including ability to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs.
">Knowledge of manufacturing requirements planning (MRP) processes, practices, and systems.
">Able to optimise planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.
">Familiarity with supplier management processes and methods, including ability to apply related knowledge, experience, and skills into real practice.
">Knowledge of logistics management processes, tools, and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials.
">Able to understand, predict, and control the movement of goods, materials, and supplies.
">Familiarity with supply chain management functions, principles, and techniques used in controlling the whole processes.
