Procurement and Facilities Manager Position

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Collingwood. The Procurement & Facilities Manager is responsible for managing procurement, contracts, facilities, and fleet operations.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that support transparent and efficient purchasing.
  • Managing end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and supplier selection.
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts with major suppliers and service providers.
  • Monitoring contract performance and ensuring value for money through strong relationships management and communication practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing end-to-end procurement processes, and drafting and managing contracts. They should also have knowledge of legal, regulatory, and funding requirements relevant to procurement and contracting.

We are looking for a skilled professional who can build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure service quality and value for money. The successful candidate will have experience in monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues, and managing procurement risks.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have experience in managing facility maintenance and compliance, including managing contractors and service providers. They should also have knowledge of building codes, tenancy laws, and occupational health and safety regulations.

Apart from these skills, we are seeking someone with strong financial management skills, including budget development, cost control, and reporting. The ability to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies is also essential.

The Procurement & Facilities Manager will work closely with finance and operational teams to manage procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. They will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on procurement spend, trends, and efficiencies.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and influencer who can effectively engage people from diverse backgrounds. They should also have a demonstrated commitment to socially responsible procurement and engaging social enterprises and First Nations suppliers.
