Operations Engineering Lead

We are seeking a skilled Operations Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership and oversee the operational health of mission-critical communication systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in electronics or computer systems engineering, looking to take on a senior role within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance across various technologies including LAN/WAN switching, P25 Voice Networks, Paging Networks, and Microwave Networks.
  • Oversee the maintenance and security of public safety systems within the Operations Engineering scope.
  • Manage day-to-day priorities and activities of the operations engineering team.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for NOC staff and Field Engineers requiring technical assistance.
  • Identify systemic issues that may impact operations or customers and drive resolutions using ITIL best practices.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electronics / Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • ITIL v4 Certification highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, land mobile radio, and microwave transmission networks.
  • Cisco/Juniper networking certifications and Microsoft/Linux certifications beneficial.
