Speech Therapy Role Opportunity

We are seeking individuals with a passion for improving the lives of young people to join our team as Speech Therapy Assistants.

This role offers flexible part-time or full-time positions, both in-clinic and mobile, with an attractive salary based on experience plus bonus opportunities.

Our purpose-built clinic in Sydney provides a supportive environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to helping children achieve their goals.

As a Speech Therapy Assistant, you will maintain a small caseload under the guidance of a senior therapist, implementing programs and strategies to enable clients to reach their objectives.

You will work closely with participants, their families, and carers to provide therapy support, identifying the best course of action for each client.

Liaising with families, specialist services, and other stakeholders as necessary, you will also contribute to a multidisciplinary team ensuring timely access for young people and their families.

With a focus on delivering high-quality service, commitment to ethics, and values by working within the principles of Best Practice in Mental Health Service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a small caseload under the supervision of a senior therapist.
  • Implementation of programs, strategies, and materials to enable clients to achieve goals as set by their referral.
  • Providing effective outcome-driven support and collaborating closely with participants, their families, and carers to provide therapy support to identify the best course of action.
  • Liaise with families, specialist services, and other stakeholders as appropriately needed.
  • Work as a part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely access for young people and their families.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery, commitment to ethics, and values by working within the principles of Best Practice in Mental Health Service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Currently studying or an approved tertiary qualification in speech pathology.
  • Current Working With Children Check and valid Police Clearance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in speech pathology.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • Police Clearance.
