
Speech Communication Specialist

Seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Speech Pathologist. This position involves working with diverse clients, including children and adults, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions to support clients with speech and language difficulties.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal communication outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and reports.
- Stay current with best practices in speech pathology through ongoing research and professional development.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs as required.
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Relevant experience in assessing and treating a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel if required.
