Due to the increasing number of Australians living with communication disabilities, there is a growing need for speech pathologists who can adapt to this evolving profession. The UTS Speech Pathology Discipline aims to equip them with innovative practices and research that enable people with communication and feeding difficulties to have better lives.

About the Role

This role focuses on leading quality research, resulting in impactful publications. It also involves actively participating in HDR supervision and developing links with industry.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have proven tertiary teaching experience, curriculum design, and delivery skills. You must be a certified practicing speech pathologist with knowledge of the Speech Pathology Australia Professional Standards. Key requirements include:

- A qualification in Speech Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Experience working in an academic or clinical education role, or managing a clinical practice setting
- Considerable experience and understanding of clinical settings in Australia
