About the Opportunity

This position offers an exciting chance to contribute to strategic planning, governance, and community engagement. As a Southern Board Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the objectives of the Fund are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine and review the long-term strategy of the Fund.
  • Evaluate and approve grant proposals.
  • Approve the annual budget and monitor performance indicators.
  • Participate in site visits, presentations, and community events.
  • Contribute to Board reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote the Fund's objectives within the Tasmanian community.

The ideal candidate will be based in Southern Tasmania and have well-established community networks and experience in governance, strategic planning, legal, accounting, financial management, quality management, media/marketing, or IT expertise, stakeholder engagement, and community leadership.
