Business Development Manager for QLD Foodservice Sales

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our QLD sales team. Reporting to the State Field Sales Manager, this role will contribute to the successful attainment of Foodservice targets and strategies in line with Regional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Develop strong business relationships with allocated businesses, generate new business, and manage accounts.
- Reporting Business Outcomes: Proactively report on sales requirements, including current and expected business outcomes, opportunities, forecasting, and emerging issues.
- Teamwork: Contribute as an effective member of the Foodservice Team, mentoring new staff, contributing to team outcomes, and developing effective communication.
- Distributors: Conduct product presentations and drive product pull-through distributors.
- End-users: Launch new SKU's in alignment with the State Field Sales Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Business Development or Sales Representative role within FMCG.
- A self-starter with exceptional stakeholder management and customer service skills.
- Confident communication, influence, and negotiation abilities.
- Good organisational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and data interpretation skills.
- Frequent travel within QLD is required.
