As a Member Support Consultant at our Balwyn club, you will play an essential role in building and maintaining a thriving membership base. You will be responsible for inspiring prospective members to begin their wellness journey with us, helping thousands of people become faster, fitter, stronger and happier versions of themselves.

The role of a Member Support Consultant is highly varied, with two clear goals - achieving membership growth goals through proactive sales activities and retaining existing members through exceptional customer service. You will be an expert in all things Goodlife, seamlessly swapping between sales and lead generation, providing service and achieving successful customer outcomes on the reception desk, and proactively communicating with current members to enhance their club experience and drive positive member retention.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to club sales budget utilising sales promotions and referrals campaigns.
  • Generate and convert high-quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Achieve the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members.
  • Create great member journeys via positive and personalised interactions.
  • Achieve successful outcomes to enquiries.
  • Open and close the club as per the club roster.
  • Active involvement in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey.
  • Regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged in their journey, recommending club-based products that would boost their results and amplify their experience.

About You:

  • You must have current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • You should be able to build rapport with people from varied walks of life with a desire to help people succeed in their goals.
  • You should be able to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
  • You must have outstanding communication abilities, able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others.
  • You should have tenacity with a natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals.
  • You should be customer-focused with a desire to achieve exceptional customer outcomes.
