Are you a skilled technician looking for a challenging role in a mission-critical environment?

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Facilities Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a critical environment, such as data centres, hospitals, or the military. They will possess a strong understanding of building services, including electrical and mechanical systems, and be able to work with a range of equipment and technologies.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our clients' telecom customer mission-critical services and maintaining the facility infrastructure. You will perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance, repairs, and call-out services for facility infrastructure equipment, provide technical support for all our clients' data centres, respond to and resolve facility incidents, manage vendor staff as needed, and develop site-specific policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a critical environment
  • Diploma in Facility Management, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering equivalent to Australian standards
  • Solid knowledge of building services, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Desirable: Restricted electrical license for switching operations
