Facilities Operations Centre (FOC) Engineer

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large-scale data centre and possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage its facilities infrastructure platform.

This role is responsible for monitoring the data centre's physical infrastructure 24/7 and serving as a central monitoring location for facility electrical and mechanical systems. The Facilities Operations Centre (FOC) Engineer will assist with coordinating and communicating during emergency recovery efforts, developing tools to enhance team performance, and contribute to outage post-mortem analysis.

  • Monitor and maintain the data centre's facilities infrastructure platform to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Serve as a Point of Contact for internal and external teams to provide technical support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement communication and escalation protocols to improve team performance and response times.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of tools to enhance team performance and productivity.
  • Ensure that records are updated in a timely manner to facilitate effective decision-making and incident management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Electrical or Mechanical Experience with a focus on building and/or electrical platform management systems.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Building and/or Electrical Platform Management Systems.
  • 2+ Years' Experience in Data Centre Engineering/Operations with a proven track record of leadership and team collaboration.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to maintain SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting tools, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
