Concrete Batch Operator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Batch Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production process, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our batching plant.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in concrete batching, with knowledge of mixing processes and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Batching orders to specified mix designs using dedicated programs and systems
  • Safe operation of front-end loaders to weigh materials for batching
  • Managing day-to-day administration, including stock control of raw materials and monthly forecasts
  • Participating in safety initiatives, including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting
  • General yard housekeeping and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Candidate should have knowledge or experience in the concrete industry
  • Sound computer skills, working with multiple systems, and safety reporting
  • Flexibility and willingness to cover various responsibilities across the plant as required
  • HR truck license is highly regarded
