This is a permanent full-time role based at Moruya. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure the delivery of projects and activities on time and within budget.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Backhoe Operator to join our team. As a key member of our Major Projects team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our projects and activities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Competently operating mobile items of plant and attachments, including backhoes, trucks, rollers, tractors, and small plant.
  • Assisting the Construction Coordinator and Assistant Works Supervisors to achieve a safe and well-organised project/activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong understanding of plant operation and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
