Telecommunications Installation Specialist

The role of a Telecommunications Installation Specialist is to deliver end-to-end installation of telecommunications networks.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will work independently to activate and assure telecommunications products and services at customer premises. You will collaborate with a diverse team to achieve optimal customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations.
  • Maintain and install copper cables, including fault finding, jointing, and jumpering.
  • Manage fibre network technology, core network technology, and data services.
  • Maintain and install customer premises equipment for both consumer and business clients.
  • Perform fault finding over copper networks in rural or remote settings.
Requirements

Candidates must hold and maintain relevant licenses and qualifications, including:

  • Certificate I/II in Telecommunications.
  • Open cabling license.
  • Traffic management qualifications.
  • Industry white card.
