Our goal is to be a 5 Star Employer of Choice, operating across Australia with major base locations in NSW, and the NT. We operate specially trained doctors, nurses, paramedics and aircrew using helicopters, turbo prop aircraft, aeromedical jets and patient transport vehicles to provide critical support to over 8,500 patients each year.


The Role Overview
Key objectives for this role include retaining and growing a portfolio of sponsors and supporters, project managing key deliverables across the business and supporting end-to-end identification, procurement, onboarding and activation of new sponsors in alignment with fundraising targets.
Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a Sponsorship Manager who can develop pipelines by identifying market trends and high dollar value sponsorship opportunities in line with business objectives.
  • Support the retention and expansion of existing sponsorships while helping secure new opportunities with an emphasis on financial growth.
  • Manage all contracted deliverables associated with sponsorships.
  • Produce compelling reports, case studies and renewal proposals that highlight sponsorship ROI and reflect evolving partner objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to design innovative sponsor opportunities and maximise sponsor value.
  • Attend networking events and assist in CareFlight's events (as required).
  • Assist with the development of team processes to support long term growth.
  • Organise and manage activations and key events from planning to delivery and measurement.

About You
This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives on securing new business, juggling multiple projects, leading experiential activations and managing client expectations with finesse. Key skills and qualifications include not-for-profit sponsorship experience, commercial fundraising expertise, account management experience and negotiation skills.
Requirements
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in Not-for-Profit sponsorship and commercial fundraising.
  • Track record of driving corporate sponsorship revenue growth.
  • Account management experience, activating sponsor deliverables with creativity, discipline and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills, capable of juggling multiple timelines and priorities.
  • Collaborative personality with the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen understanding of negotiation methods.
  • Current driver's licence and availability for travel or weekend work.
  • Proficiency in using CRM platforms, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Canva.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a not-for-profit environment.
  • Background in event management.
  • Understanding of workplace giving program operations.
