We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team in Benalla, Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and selecting suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes in terms of price, quality and service
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with regional and global category teams to align and execute sourcing strategies
  • Managing RFPs, pricing agreements, forecasting, reporting and lifecycle costing
  • Achieving cost reductions through negotiation, benchmarking and localization
  • Mitigating risks and developing alternate sourcing strategies
  • Buidling long-term supplier partnerships that drive innovation and sustainability
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar field coupled with previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of transformer components and related supply chain requirements
  • Proven technical skills in relation to procurement, buying and sourcing requirements
  • Intermediate IT skills, experienced in the use of digital tools and other best practices
  • Strong data analysis, negotiation and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Project management capabilities and demonstrated experience in partnering with domestic and international stakeholders
