Operations Excellence Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in an emerging business. Amazon Transport Services team is seeking an operations leader to drive innovation and excellence in Sort Center operations.
About the RoleOversee and improve all aspects of sortation operations at BWU5, including:
- Leading sort center activities, staff planning, and scheduling.
- Hiring and developing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety, customer obsession, and engagement.
- Implementing process improvements and quality initiatives.
- Promoting health and safety best practices.
- Participating in cross-functional projects.
- Preparing data-driven proposals and performing data analysis.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
The following qualifications are highly desirable:
- 2+ years experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
