Senior Manager - Data Security Information Governance

The central information governance team plays a vital role in supporting the organization to manage risks associated with data retention, data sovereignty, and information security. Our team is responsible for maintaining an enterprise-wide framework and providing advice and tools to enable efficient and scalable information governance practices across the organisation.

As a senior manager in information governance, you will support senior management in implementing high-quality information governance across the enterprise. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with internal policies, frameworks, and jurisdictional regulatory requirements. You will maintain enterprise-wide tools to support information governance processes, provide advice on frameworks to global stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of governance practices.

  • You will have sound knowledge and experience in information governance, including records and information management, data sovereignty frameworks, and working with business classification schemes.
  • Exposure to technology platforms and solutions underpinning information governance are essential.
  • A collaborative approach with a proactive and problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a global business environment, are required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel, are necessary.
  • Experience in a complex business environment, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industries, is valuable.
