Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our organisation's data governance framework and practices.

This role will focus on establishing and maintaining robust data governance practices across all business units and jurisdictions.

The Data Governance Expert will contribute to enhancing data maturity levels and fostering a culture of data collaboration across the board.

Stakeholder trust in data is essential for keeping our organisation agile as we support data-driven decision making.

  • Contribute to operationalising the Data Governance Framework via strong and actionable policies, processes, procedures and standards through relevant jurisdictions.
  • Evaluate opportunities and make recommendations for embedding Data Governance practices within IT teams and across the organisation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among Data Stewards and other teams while supporting adoption of data practices and tools including Data Catalogue, Enterprise Business Glossary along with associated processes and artefacts.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years' experience in data management roles preferably in Financial Services or FinTech, including 2+ years' experience in a specialist Data Governance role.

Key Skills: The successful candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong technical skills and knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
