Workforce Planning Specialist

Making a Difference in Workforce Management.

The Chief Operations Office is seeking a Workforce Planning Specialist to join the Strategy and Risk team. The role involves long- and short-term forecasting, scheduling, real-time support, and workforce planning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day Workforce Management: Determine resourcing needs, short-term planning, and productivity initiatives.
  • Partner with Operational Teams: Set day-to-day management and plan for operations in collaboration with senior managers and team leaders.
  • Operationalize Resource Plans: Meet customer demand and service obligations through partnership with the Strategic Workforce Planning team.

Daily Tasks:

  1. Leverage Workforce Planning Tools: Continuously monitor call and message queues in real time to identify optimization opportunities.
  2. Provide Actionable Insights: Support workforce optimization, enhance customer experience, and empower business leaders with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  3. Schedule Resources: Align with business KPIs, service levels, and training objectives, manage scheduling requests up to 30 days in advance for all staff activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Contact Centre & Messaging Environment.
  • Ability to meet objectives and targets while working to deadlines and managing priorities.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills, coupled with well-developed Planning and Organisational Skills.
  • Great Problem Solving and Analytical Ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • Risk Mindset, relevant Tertiary qualifications advantageous.
