Workforce Planning Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Specialist to join our dynamic operations team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning workforce planning with business strategy and site needs. This involves supporting workforce planning across forecasting, scheduling, rostering, mobilisation, and real-time optimisation. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally (HR, IT, Finance, HSE, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with operations leadership to drive workforce optimisation strategies for each village.
  • Support the development of tailored workforce plans to boost efficiency and labour cost control.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to streamline planning processes and analyse performance using workforce management systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on operational data and trend analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with enterprise agreements and rostering conditions, and keep qualification and induction records up-to-date.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Technology or Law.
  • Demonstrated experience in workforce/resource planning, rostering, or logistics within hospitality or village accommodation environments.
  • Strong understanding of workforce operating models and planning methodologies.
  • Solid experience in JD Edwards comprehensive ERP solution in streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
  • Proven ability to optimise complex operations while balancing client needs and internal resource constraints.
