About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with polling place duties, including issuing ballot papers, rotating as a ballot box guard and queue controller, and conducting counts.
  • This is a temporary role with variable hours, including weekend work, from March 2025.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $AUD 28 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with polling place duties, including issuing ballot papers, rotating as a ballot box guard and queue controller, and conducting counts.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Provide excellent customer service to electors, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
