People Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Business Partner to join our Retail Operations team at David Jones. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in delivering the people agenda across our retail stores in Western Australia and South Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with retail leadership teams to execute the people strategy and drive business outcomes
- Lead conversations around talent management, succession planning, and team engagement to maximize the capability of our people and teams
- Lead and contribute to key strategic projects across the corporate and wider People Teams, including organizational change and transformation initiatives
- Facilitate and lead projects relating to organizational change and transformation, ensuring a seamless and effective transition
- Mix commercial objectives with the needs of our people to create engaging environments that drive business results
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to retail leadership teams to enhance their HR skills and capabilities
- A customer-focused approach and a passion for retail, with a strong understanding of the retail industry and its challenges
- An ability to influence via strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders, including retail leaders, HR teams, and other business partners
- Emerging experience working in effective HR Business Partnering roles, with a proven track record of delivering business outcomes
- Ability to collaborate with HR COE's to deliver HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results
- Experience leading career, talent development, remuneration, and benefits discussions to ensure fair and competitive compensation packages
- Skills to coach and mentor leaders regarding HR processes and initiatives, with a focus on developing their HR capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills and proven capabilities of successfully partnering with a remote HR Business Partnering team
