Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at UGL Defence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective operation of the Fuel Installation across the ports in the Sydney basin.
The Operations Supervisor will lead, motivate and manage a small team of OA's and their teams, working with the NSW O&M Superintendent to ensure timely and effective delivery of Operating Services Plan. The role will also involve monitoring relevant site level compliance reviews for all fuel movements, testing and compliance, and contributing to the management of the OA budget performance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Marine or similar industries, with proven experience in operations management. Relevant tertiary technical qualifications or relevant industry experience are also essential. Prior experience in Defence Fuels will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. Safety is at the forefront of everything they do, and they will hold or obtain relevant Defence training to meet OA task requirements. Current holder or ability to obtain NV-1 security clearance is also required.
