Job Title: Community Outreach Specialist

We are seeking an individual to play a vital role in supporting social housing tenants across NSW.

The successful candidate will have experience in community development and a passion for making a difference.

  • Building relationships with local tenants to address and identify challenges they face.
  • MAPPING CURRENT TENANT PARTICIPATION GROUPS AND IDENTIFYING GAPS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO ENHANCE ENGAGEMENT.
  • Facilitating volunteering opportunities within the community, coordinating training sessions and promoting tenant participation.
  • REACHING OUT TO ISOLATED OR DIFFICULT TO ENGAGE TENANTS TO OVERCOME BARRIERS TO PARTICIPATION.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate collaborative outcomes.

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant degree or diploma in community services, community development, health or related fields.
  • Proven experience in community development, with a focus on building partnerships and facilitating engagement.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office systems to manage and analyze data.
  • A valid driver's license to travel between locations.
