Job Title: Director of Sales and Marketing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Oaks Hotels, Resorts and Suites. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and increase brand visibility
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with the Revenue department to create and implement sales plans and forecasts
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Assess sales performance and market potential of individual properties and develop strategies to improve performance
  • Develop and manage operating budgets for sales activities to ensure alignment with strategic goals and financial constraints
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets and take corrective action to address any deviations
  • Represent Minor Hotels brands at trade shows and association meetings to showcase the company's offerings and network with industry professionals
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including clients and partners, to foster collaboration and business opportunities
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales management with a proven track record of success in developing and growing sales strategy
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong financial acumen with solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Superior attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Availability to travel domestically when required
