About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, working closely with clients who require assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and emotional support. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for these individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personalized support to clients with complex needs, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Encouraging clients to participate in activities that promote independence, socialization, and community engagement.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client progress, reporting any concerns or issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working as a Disability Support Worker.
  • Experience working with clients with Autism/ADHD, Mental Health, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Dementia, and Behaviours of Concern.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, Vaccinations (including COVID), CPR & First Aid certification, right to work in Australia, 100 Points of ID, Driving Licence, and access to a reliable car.
  • Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability and/or Mental Health Care Qualification, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
