Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our Commercial Team in Australia. This is a key role focused on delivering an exceptional experience to our Commercial customers through various communication channels.
Job OverviewThis permanent part-time role requires working 3 days a week, with the Customer Service Centre operating from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for taking inbound telephone calls or emails from Viva Energy customers and resolving their queries promptly and professionally.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the organization. You will be required to maintain accurate records of customer information and relevant actions in supporting systems.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to outstanding customer service and a willingness to improve the customer's experience. Responsibilities- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update relevant systems accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve complex customer issues and ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products and services to customers, enhancing their overall experience.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office Suite, ERP systems (JDE preferred), CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and telephony systems (Amazon Connect preferred).
- A demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service and a willingness to continuously improve the customer experience.
- A strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
