BEGA CHEESE is seeking a highly skilled IT Incident Resolution Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the incident management process, providing timely and accurate updates to stakeholders, and identifying root causes of incidents.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to take on a challenging role with a dynamic company. As an IT Incident Resolution Expert, you will be at the forefront of handling emergency-level outages and disruptions. Your expertise will guide internal teams, external vendors, and the bridge team to direct the incident resolution process.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain an effective incident management process, including identification, logging, categorization, prioritization, investigation, and resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major incident-related communication, providing timely and accurate updates to stakeholders (senior management, IT teams, and business users).
- Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes, contributing factors, areas for improvement, and permanent corrective actions.
- Proactively identify possible problems before incidents occur and lead Post-Incident Review meetings following major incidents.
- Drive efforts to improve incident management processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Experience and certification in ITIL.
- Qualification in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience in Manufacturing/Logistics or another complex organisational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) principles, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ITIL).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
