About the Role

Fulton Hogan is seeking a highly skilled Safety Advisor to join our Infrastructure Services Business in South Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our safety culture and ensuring the well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective safety procedures, policies, and processes to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  3. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  4. Lead and participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and other safety-related activities to promote a culture of safety awareness.
  5. Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors to ensure HSE deliverables are met.
  6. Support operational teams in complying with the HSE Management system and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  1. Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Civil Construction Industry.
  3. Valid driver's license.
  4. Strong passion for delivering safety and educating risk awareness.
  5. Working knowledge of Traffic Management requirements and implementation.
  6. Knowledge of ICAM incident investigation methodology.
  7. Experience conducting safety audits and providing safety training.
