Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing, sponsorships or event coordination and be confident in coordinating events and sponsorships.

This is a part-time role (0.6 FTE) requiring someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys event coordination. The successful applicant will contribute to broader marketing initiatives, including content creation and administrative support, helping to ensure a consistent and engaging brand experience across all touchpoints.

About the Role
  • Coordinate events from planning through to execution and post-event reporting.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support Perks' corporate sponsorship function.
  • Manage sponsorship and event elements, including site setup, promotional activities, branded merchandise, and on-site activation.
  • Maintain accurate records of sponsorship and event details.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Marketing & Communications Team.
Key Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Event Management or a related field.
  • Experience in marketing, sponsorships or event coordination.
  • Basic design skills to support event collateral and sponsorship assets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
