The Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Care Manager to become part of our team. In this full-time position, you will be an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for delivering safe, effective, and modern clinical care to our residents. You will also oversee and mentor registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and personal care staff, ensuring a resident-focused approach and a high standard of service.

The Care Manager will be tasked with planning, assigning, and delegating responsibilities while facilitating care delivery in accordance with established policies and procedures. Additionally, you will contribute to the efficient management of human, material, and financial resources in line with budgetary constraints.

Utilizing your advanced clinical expertise as a qualified Registered Nurse, you will strive to achieve best practice clinical standards while providing strong leadership in a resident-centered care environment. You will actively foster a workplace culture that embraces innovation and collaboration, empowering our residents to live life on their terms.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (RN) is required for all aged care settings.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A minimum of three years of experience in residential aged care.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Quality Agency Standards, Aged Care Act, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills aligned with contemporary practices.
  • Possession of a current National Police Certificate (or the ability to obtain one).

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in nursing management.
  • Involvement in accreditation processes.
