The Role: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Care Manager to become part of our dedicated team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and effective clinical care to our residents. Your leadership will be vital in supervising registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and personal care staff, ensuring a focus on resident needs and high-quality service delivery.

The Care Manager will be responsible for planning, assigning, and overseeing care delivery in accordance with established policies and procedures. Additionally, you will contribute to the efficient management of human, material, and financial resources while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Utilizing your extensive clinical expertise as a seasoned Registered Nurse, you will strive for best practice standards in a resident-centered care environment. You will actively foster a workplace culture that encourages innovation and teamwork, supporting our residents in living life on their terms.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (RN) for all aged care settings.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A minimum of three years of experience in residential aged care.
  • Knowledge of the Quality Agency Standards, Aged Care Act, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge aligned with contemporary practices.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain).

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in nursing management.
  • Involvement in accreditation processes.

To be eligible for employment with Respect, candidates must meet the legislative requirements for Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability for the aged care sector.
