High Voltage Substation Designer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of high-voltage electrical engineering projects. As part of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of substation primary engineering up to 500kV.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the design of primary substations, including layout, equipment arrangement and electrical clearances, to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Perform detailed design calculations and develop comprehensive design packages, including bills of materials and technical specifications, for high-voltage equipment.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver clash-free and optimized designs, meeting project requirements and timelines.
- Review system studies to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Design Engineer on large-scale energy infrastructure projects, particularly in the design of high-voltage substations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
- CPEng or working towards it.
- Membership or eligibility with a relevant engineering body, such as Engineers Australia.
