High-Voltage Design Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Senior Primary Design Engineer to lead our high-performing design division. The successful candidate will work closely with our design partner to deliver substation primary engineering up to 500kV and play a key role in shaping the future of the grid.

About the Role

As a Senior Primary Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading primary substation design up to 500kV, including layout, equipment arrangement, and electrical clearances. You will perform design calculations, develop complete design packages including BOMs and technical specs for HV equipment, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure clash-free, optimised designs. You will also review system studies and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Senior Primary Engineer on major energy infrastructure projects (HV/EHV substations)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering)
  • CPEng or working towards it
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g. Engineers Australia)
