The Role
  • Strategically anticipate and meet program workforce demand while establishing sustainable capability pipelines.
  • Design and lead comprehensive capability plans across engineering, operations, program management, and supply chain.
  • Promote ongoing training and development to ensure ASC's workforce maintains the necessary capability, skills, and experience to support both the Collins Submarine Program and Nuclear-Powered Submarine Programs.
  • Foster collaboration with government, education, and industry to cultivate a sovereign submarine talent base in Australia.
  • Drive cultural transformation and implement innovative workforce systems that directly impact business outcomes.
About You

You are an experienced senior leader (10+ years) with a proven track record in complex, high-risk industries. You bring:

  • Proven success in designing and implementing capability programs aligned to strategic objectives.
  • A strong understanding of workforce trends, regulations, and training standards.
  • Experience leading large-scale enterprise-wide change programs.
  • A history of inspiring high-performing teams and engaging diverse stakeholders.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or operations, supported by post-graduate business studies, are essential.

Location and Impact

This role can be based in Adelaide or Perth, with a national scope and generational impact.
