**Strategic Security Lead**

Our organisation requires a high-calibre individual to oversee the execution of security protocols across multiple sites. As the primary security liaison, you will ensure seamless collaboration with senior leadership and external stakeholders.

This role demands an expert in defence security management, including extensive experience in executive security advisory, security risk assessments, investigations, and incident response planning. You will be responsible for fostering a strong security culture and driving cultural change within the workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business objectives;
  • Maintaining and enhancing H&B DISP accreditation;
  • Providing regular security briefings and risk assessments;
  • Overseeing intelligence gathering, risk assessments, and threat analysis;
  • Developing and maintaining business continuity plans.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance;
  • Tertiary qualifications in security, risk management, defence, intelligence, or a related discipline;
  • Extensive experience in defence security management, including DISP accreditation and AGSVA security clearance processes;
  • Proven experience in executive security advisory, with the ability to engage at a senior leadership level.
