**Job Title:** Recreation Planning and Community Infrastructure Manager
">Job Description:
">The Recreation Planning and Community Infrastructure Manager leads the strategic direction and long-term planning of recreation infrastructure across the municipality. This involves a strong focus on urban renewal and revitalization of key community spaces.
">This role requires a natural community connector who can bring people together, navigate complex conversations, and turn diverse perspectives into shared achievements. A results-driven professional with sharp financial skills to manage budgets, craft compelling business cases, and deliver smart, long-term asset planning is also required.
">Key responsibilities include leading the development of policies, plans, and strategies for community recreation, libraries, and waterways opportunities. The successful candidate will also oversee and lead the branch ten-year capital works pipeline, coordinate the annual capital works process, and contribute to the branch annual planning process.
">As a champion of inclusive, future-focused facilities, the Recreation Planning and Community Infrastructure Manager will play a critical role in delivering vibrant, active places that enhance wellbeing for generations to come. They will work collaboratively with service managers to ensure alignment with community needs and provide strategic leadership to a team of professionals.
