Job Summary

This role involves generating new sales and retaining existing sales within assigned accounts or territories, either through direct or indirect selling, by providing application or field service support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for mining and construction in assigned territories.
  • Promote earth cutting tooling/solutions to achieve/exceed assigned sales goals and favorably influence product selection.
  • Assess and evaluate customers' needs and develop appropriate sales strategies.
  • Monitor customers and competitors' activities in the market.
  • Manage distributor partners and drive sales growth and new business development for earth cutting tooling.
  • Support team sales initiatives by gathering and communicating pertinent information for assigned accounts.
  • Key account management for projects in the territory and CRM adoption (MS Dynamics).
  • Negotiate contracts, programs, and agreements with customers and vendors.
  • Conduct field trials, customer complaint resolution, gather competitive information, and provide training on earth cutting tooling products and applications.
  • Execute complex tasks and projects and develop recommendations to achieve business objectives.
  • Prepare progress, status, and forecast reports on key aspects of assigned responsibilities.
  • Collect and manage receivables and maintain required days sales outstanding.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of existing and new products and services.

Requirements

  • Trade certificate in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience in engineering products.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably with earth cutting tooling and wear products.
  • Competent in understanding and communicating product information to customers.
  • Able to assess customer needs competently.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the defined territory.
