Business Development and Partnerships Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Partnerships Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and growing existing partnerships. The successful candidate will have excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Salary$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description- Meet enrolment sales targets and analyse sales performance
- Identify and target potential leads for sales and partnerships
- Foster and maintain existing relationships and partnerships
- Contribute to sales strategies and digital and B2B marketing strategies
- Manage prospective students, including student enquiries, email, or telephone enquiries
- Implement lead generation and promotional campaigns
- Align sales plans and activity with enrolment targets
- Enhance brand visibility and network with businesses to source new partnerships and generate enrolments
- Proven experience in sales and relationship building, preferably within the education sector
- Knowledge of the VET Quality framework and funding contracts
- Knowledge of sales techniques, concepts and activity
- Proven sales track record – working to targets, delivering outcomes
- Proficiency in MS Office, and CRM software
- Highly developed verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to cold call and generate new business opportunities
- Proven ability to devise and implement sales strategies
- Excellent negotiation and partnership building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
