Enterprise Agreement Specialist Role

The Enterprise Agreement Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping our organization's strategic direction and ensuring successful EA outcomes.

This challenging position combines strong analytical and project management skills with expert knowledge of industrial relations and employment law.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex projects, negotiating with unions, and driving implementation and change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the organization's EA strategy to meet operational and workforce needs.
  • Plan and execute EA negotiations, including stakeholder consultations, union engagement, and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Manage the EA lifecycle as a formal project, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on EA interpretation, modern awards, and industrial relations legislation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders, unions, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, HR, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in project management within HR or IR contexts.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting enterprise agreement negotiations and implementations.
  • A strong understanding of Fair Work Act principles and EA processes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience working with unions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex IR concepts into clear language.
  • High attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in large, unionized organizations.
