Job Title: Marketing & Operations Support Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will provide comprehensive support to multiple departmental areas, including Claims, Customer Service and Sales & Marketing.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Sorting and re-pricing claims.
  • Responding to customer inquiries.
  • Supporting the marketing department by preparing disruption and geo results for prospects and existing customers.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, especially with medical claims is preferred.
  • Call center and/or receptionist experience is desirable.
  • A minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT coding.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take directions from a supervisor/lead as well as work autonomously.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills as necessary.
  • Strong multi-task capabilities.

Work Environment:

  • Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
