
Marketing Business Operations Strategist

Our ideal candidate will perform comprehensive operational support across various departments, including marketing, sales, partner support, publisher account services, public library North America, education, and international sales. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the quality and impact of organizational efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operational Process Development: Define and refine end-to-end workflows, documentation, system design, reporting, budget alignment, and collaboration among multiple teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Sales Operations Streamlining: Contribute to streamlining sales-related operations, including lead management, contract workflows, sales process optimization, and KPI analysis to drive business growth.
- System Design and Reporting: Develop and automate reports, KPIs, and dashboards in partnership with analytics and business units to enhance performance visibility, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute operational plans, optimize processes, and identify opportunities for improvement to achieve strategic objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in marketing, operations, business administration, information technology, business management, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ Years of Experience: A proven track record in developing internal and external business relationships, proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and strong organizational skills are essential.
- Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in creating reports, building visualizations, and utilizing macros and queries to clean and transform data for strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration with data analysts to derive business intelligence insights, demonstrating a balance between strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple workstreams while maintaining a focus on achieving strategic objectives.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics or Tableau, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel modeling.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the capability to communicate effectively at an executive level and collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders across the organization.
- Proficiency in creating reports, building visualizations, and utilizing macros and queries to clean and transform data for strategic decision-making.
