Operational Support Specialist for Humanitarian and Settlement Programs

We are seeking an experienced Personal or Executive Assistant with strong project management skills to support our Humanitarian and Settlement programs at SSI Australia.



About the Role

  • Provide high-quality operational and administrative services to support program leaders and teams in achieving their goals.
  • Coordinate workflow, manage email and diaries, prepare correspondence, and maintain accurate records.
  • Draft reports, presentations, and speeches to support meetings and events.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment by adhering to organizational policies and procedures.


About You

  • You have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a personal or executive assistant, working directly with senior managers.
  • You possess excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage up and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • You have project management experience and can coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You have a keen attention to detail, with high-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • You hold qualifications in business administration or a related field.
