About the Role

The Senior Settlement Worker will equip eligible clients to address their identified settlement needs, improving social participation, economic well-being, independence, personal well-being, and community connectedness.

The role involves high-quality case management and community development initiatives, operating within MiCare's Integrated Family/Client Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employ a strength-based, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mainstream service providers, referral processes, and relevant legislation.
  • Deliver case management services and meet identified community needs through groupwork initiatives.
  • Ensure quality and safety of service delivery and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain data collection and client records, meeting funding body and legislative requirements.

About You

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work or relevant human/social sciences.
  • Demonstrated skills in casework, conducting needs assessments, and developing case plans.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and current driver's licence.
